Ida Freeman’s Garden Club was founded in the fall of 2018. Garden Club seeks to cultivate both vegetables and flowers. We have an outdoor garden, an indoor hydroponic water tower, and aquaponic tanks. The goal is for students to know how to grow their own food and understand how flowers and vegetables work together to pollinate a garden. Students also learn the benefits of different types of gardening. Garden Club is open for students in 3rd through 5th grade. It meets weekly during student’s lunch time. Ida Freeman is partnering with a local Master Gardener to take our learning to another level!
