Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. They then bring their solutions to competition on the local, state, and World level. Thousands of teams from throughout the U.S. and from about 25 other countries participate in the program. The Ida Freeman Odyssey of the Mind program formed in the fall of 2016 under the direction of two AMAZING educators – Stacey Ruston and Sarah Johnston.  Our Odyssey program is open to students in grades 4 & 5 and meets weekly to work on both long term and spontaneous problem solving.

If you are interested in joining or volunteering to assist with Odyssey of the Mind, please contact one of the sponsors. We will be organizing teams in September 2017.
