As most of you know – the United States will experience a rare solar eclipse on August 21st of this year.  However, Oklahoma will most likely only see a partial eclipse.  We are in the preparation process at Ida Freeman so that we may experience this eclipse with our students in a safe and organized way.  Although this eclipse occurs on the 2nd full day of school – students started learning about the eclipse at the end of last school year.  All students will receive a pair of solar eclipse glasses to wear while outside during the solar eclipse.  More planning information will be released as we continue preparations in August.
